1st-6th Grades

Students will spend the year with Natasha Castro exploring what it means to be part of the Unitarian Universalist, local, and global community. The students will discover the connections between themselves and the world around them by participating in a variety of games, crafts and visual and performing arts. Each class will give the child an opportunity to work in a team and reflect on their place in the community.

Natasha is a second year teacher with a BA and teaching credential in Theatre Education from Emerson College. She spent her first year as an educator living and teaching in the Marshall Islands. Natasha currently teaches 3rd-5th grade at the New Horizons School for homeless children.

Also in store are overnights, conferences, service projects and the annual ski trip!

Laurie has a B.A. in Philosophy and an M.A. in Consciousness Studies. She has taught philosophy courses to teens through Upward Bound and to college students, and has also worked at the Institute of Noetic Sciences.
