Religious Education: Overview | REACH Covenant | Classes | YRUU
In November 2004, the UUFSCC adopted the R.E.A.C.H. covenant in which we all agree to treat other members of the fellowship with Respect, Empathy, Acceptance, Compassion and Honesty in accordance with the seven UU principles.
1. We believe that each and every person is important.
We treat everyone with respect and kindness. We help keep ourselves and others safe.
2. We believe that all people should be treated fairly.
We listen, and respect others by taking turns and not interrupting.
3. We believe that we should accept one another and keep on learning together.
We include everyone in activities and discussions. We make everyone feel welcome.
4. We believe that each person is free to search for what they believe to be true and right. We share our ideas and respect the ideas of others.
5. We believe that all persons should have the right to speak out and have a say about what concerns them.
We express our opinions in helpful and positive way.
6. We will work for a world of peace, freedom and fairness for all.
We do our best to get along with others and be helpful. We talk about our problems and ask for help when we need it.
7. We believe in caring for our planet earth, the home we share with all living things.
We are gentle with all plants and animals. We take good care of our fellowship by using only what we need and being careful with what we use.
